The Discus Club Singapore (DCS) is a hobbyist club. Founded by a group of Discus enthusiasts who decided to have an official club to enhance the interest of Discus hobbyists.
Since its inception in 1997, Discus Club (Singapore) had grown to become one of the oldest and biggest aquarist interest group in Singapore.
Through the years, the Club has been active in promoting and expanding Discus keeping among the interest group. Many International Shows & Competitions, Regional Conferences, Educational Field Trips and other exciting activities were organized over the past two decades.
Objectives of the Club :
1. To promote the keeping and breeding of discus as a hobby
2. To promote research and study of discus in all aspects
3. To organize the exhibition of equipment and material connected with discus breeding and competitions of discus
4. To foster interaction and friendship among local and international discus breeders
