[Germany] 9th International Shrimp Championship 2017
From February 3 to 5, 2017, the International Shrimp Championship will be held in Hannover (Germany) again.
This championship is the biggest shrimp breeders' contest in Europe. Breeders from all over the world are invited to take part with the shrimp they raise. The field of participants keeps growing more international with each passing year. Renowned breeders from France, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Great Britain and — of course — Germany have taken part.
The shrimp are judged by an independent, international jury. The best of show may look forward to winning a cheque for 1,000 €, sponsored by the main supporter of the show, Dennerle GmbH. The German freshwater shrimp magazine Caridina and the German association of shrimp breeders AKWB e.V. are the organizers of this championship. All breeders are invited to register their best shrimp for this competition by January 27, 2017, at the latest.
The shrimp need to arrive in Hannover not later than February 2, 2017.
